WWII industrialists Joe Keller and Herb Deever ran a company which made defective airplane parts, causing the deaths of many men. Deever was sent to prison for their crimes, but not Keller. The shadows of this catastrophe, the anger of the Deever family, and the fact that Keller’s aviator son was reported missing in action tear the family apart with an almost unbearable power.
